Connect Claude
Add GatherEasy once on claude.ai and it’s available in Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps too, as they share your account’s connectors. Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans.
Add the connector
Section titled “Add the connector”-
Open claude.ai (or Claude Desktop) and go to Customize → Connectors.
-
Choose + Add, then Add custom connector.
-
Enter a name, such as
GatherEasy, and the remote MCP server URL:https://gathereasy.rsvp/api/mcpChoose Continue.

Leave the authentication settings as they are. GatherEasy uses standard OAuth and registers Claude automatically, so you don’t need a client ID, secret or API key. Choose Continue, then Add.

Choose Connect (or Sign in) next to GatherEasy. A GatherEasy window opens. Sign in and choose Allow access. See Sign-in and permissions.
Use it in a chat
Section titled “Use it in a chat”Choose the + button at the bottom left of the message box, then Connectors, and make sure GatherEasy is switched on. Then just ask, for example: “What’s on this weekend on GatherEasy?”
You can turn individual GatherEasy tools on or off, or choose whether Claude asks before using them, from the connector’s settings in Customize → Connectors.
Add the server
Section titled “Add the server”Run this in your terminal:
